ACA Foundation Recognizes Jeff Denton with 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award

CORONADO, CA, February 24, 2017:  The American College of Apothecaries Research and Education Foundation presented the 2017 ACA Research & Education Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award to Jeff Denton, of Salia, Kansas at the College’s 2017 Educational Conference. The presentation was made during the Presidents’ Banquet Friday evening at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort. The award is presented to a member who has continually dedicated himself to the advancement of the profession of pharmacy as seen through commitment and support of the ACA Research and Education Foundation.

Jeff, along with his wife Sherry, have been strong supporters of ACA and contributors to the ACA Research and Education Foundation for many years.

Jeff served as President of the ACA as well as an ACA Regional Director for several years and currently serves on the ACA’s Research & Education Foundation Board of Directors.  Jeff has been a member of APhA, Kansas Pharmaceutical Association, Saline County Pharmaceutical Association and the National Community Pharmacists Association.  Additionally, Jeff has served as President of the Saline County Pharmaceutical Association, a board member of the Kansas Chapter of the American Arthritis Association, and the Advisory Panel of Kansas Care Home Nursing.

Jeff currently works as a consulting pharmacist at B & K Prescription Shop in Salina, Kansas. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy.  In 2014, Jeff and Sherry Denton were awarded the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy Distinguished Service Award, which is presented to individuals who have demonstrated selfless and sustained service and leadership in advancement of the profession, their communities and the School of Pharmacy.
